Introduction to Chain Making

This two day course is designed for those who are fascinated with the variety of jewellery pieces that chain weaving techniques can suggest. Come to learn 5 ways to weave your chains, four of which require soldering.

A list of tools and materials that you will need (and additional tools maybe required or recommended):

• 1- 4" Jeweller's Saw Frame
• 1 doz 3/0 Saw Blades
• Mandrels for chain making
• 1 pair - AA Tweezers
• 1-Solder Pick
• 1 pair - Fire Tweezers
• 1 - Center punch
• 1 - drill bit (0.6 to 1.00 mm)
• Pliers: Round Nose Pliers, Flat Nose Pliers, Chain Nose Pliers
• Silver and/or Copper Wire
