Tension Setting

Make an original Ring in this one day workshop. By utilizing the tension created in a silver band, we will securely set a facetted stone in the ring. By the end of the day, you’ll have an eye catching ring that will have everyone asking where you bought it.

Required Tools:

• rawhide mallet or metal hammer with a smooth flat side to the head
• round ring mandrel
• emery sticks( 1 and 1/0)
• 1/2 round ring file
• saw frame and blades
• silver and facetted stone (easiest if you pick it up during the class but can bring stones you already have just in case one might work)

Note: The instructor will have most of the tools available for student use however you are advised to bring your own unless you don’t mind waiting.
